Yes, I believe that this issue was resolved in the movie "Falling Down" When (Micheal Keaton) goes crazy and reminds the fast food staff that his burger does not look like the picture on the menu. I guess if you make $6-$9 per hour how much would you care? In fact, even high priced restaurants don't pay a lot for either the servers or the cooks, so treat them nicely (and the fast food workers too)

As far as I'm concerned Fast Food has always been rotten, I just can't stomach all the grease, it just has a nasty taste, I like fresh cooked food, I just don't patronize the fast food resturants, the only time I do is to get a blizzard or an ice cream cone, but that is the only time. Love ice cream !!!

I have noticed that fast food is plain yucky and greasy. But, I remember when McDonald's first started (yeah, i'm old) and they had girl's riding in rollar skates up to your car. Their food wasn't bad then, it's gotten alot worse. Although I like their salads. I know they are new, but the side salads are inexpensive and delicious.

Yes it's getting harder to find just fresh plain food that hasn't been altered in some way. additives even to fresh meat food colorings that make you sick. what can you do? Look for organic foods and ask for them everytime you shop. They will eventually get the foods that people want if we are strong enough to ask and do this. otherwise stores will go out of business.

If you went everyday and got fast food no wonder its lousy.
For me and my family. Its fast, simple and convient. We go out 2 times a week. Thursday (Mexican) Friday (American) good old hamburger and fries. McDonalds. Has a really good Asian salad. We do get the Salads alot..including the fruit salad, apple dippers, and the yogurt parfits.

My biggest complaints about fast food is that most places salt the fries too much and they water or seltzer down the drink syrup too much.
Also, they need more variety. I don't like to eat green salads with my burger, so why don't they offer coleslaw, potato or macaroni salad? Or something else?
It's the same old same old...burger, fries, drink, chicken, fries, drink.....
I only go to those places that offer me something different.

Sure have, McDonald's hasn't had decent fries in the last 15 years. Arby's roast beef taste like pressed beef. Hardy's has decided to make their fries taste like grain and DOES use pressed beef for their roast beef. Burger King hasn't changed much, same old crap. I think KFC uses lard instead of grease as it gets greasier by the week.

try watching the intreguing (sp) and very popular (it's even being shown in high schools) documentry "Super Size Me" the guy eats McDonalds breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 30 days. he threw up a lot, and started getting a whole lot of illnesses (high blood pressure and tremendous weight gain). so be cool with a "K" and stay away

Yes - it is your generation working (ha ha ) there now. What is the Ha Ha about? Your generation has no work ethic and lets everything go to pot and to waste. Let's cook dishtowels in the deep fryer and then fish, and then fries in the dirty oil. Oops, i dropped raw burger in the salas. Just fish it out and cook it up and serve the salad.
