Depends. If you're young, and on vacation or absent minded, take a disposable. If you are really into picture taking like I am, and need the zoom or lighting from a good camera, get a 'real' camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix L3, and it has 8x zoom, video, and plenty of settings for me to play with. It all just depends on what you want out of your camera! I don't take my good digital with me on vacations or such, though. I can't afford another one if something happened to this baby! LOL I just use my old 35 mm for trips, and I use the Nikon for closeups here at home, and the nature shots I take. Visit my 360 page to get a look at the pix I like best.

I keep a real camara because then I don't have to buy a new one everytime I use up a roll of film. But I buy a disposable one for whenever I'm going on a vacation where there will be whole bunches of people staying in the same area as me since it's cheaper to replace if it gets lost/stolen.

I have a digital camera for taking pics that I love. I thought that I would hate using it, but love it!! No more buying film, and I can email picks easily. But...... when I go on vacation, I just buy throw away cameras, don't want to lose my $200 camera--too poor to replace it.

it really depends.
if you like taking pictures/take a lot, get a digital camera. it`ll save you a lot of money.
but if you only use a camera once a year or so, just use a disposable.

a digital cam is better the pic are more vivid and u dont waste pics. u only take what u want and delete the rest . and diposibles r too expensive by the end of the year. if u buy 10 diposibles its same as buying a digital cam and those u cant even use again atleast the digial u can u use

A real digital is best but I don't have one yet so I use Kodak HQ one time use cameras, and instead of getting double prints I get one print and the photo CD.

if you want good quality pictures get a digital camera. i have used disposable cameras on vacation-so i wouldn't be too upset if it got lost or stolen-they take good pictures.

Why wouldn't you choose a real camera silly monkey? It lasts longer and the pictures come out better.
