Well coming from a true southern family (you can trace my roots all along the southern states) many of my family members past and current are and were KKK members, skin heads, militia, you name it my great grandfather a grand wizard for the KKK even had a so called scrap book which I now call a crap book that actually has pictures of the KKK standing around black men hung, burning on crosses, and they are all standing around like it is one big party. Myself I could care less if your pink, orange, green, black, white, yellow, you get the point I cry every time I see the book to know that I came from such hate. I WILL NEVER STAND UP FOR WHAT HE DID BUT I WILL TILL TELL YOU THAT I LOVED HIM HE WAS STILL MY PAPA!
I really think that when ppl say it is all in the way your raised that they are full of bull$hit. I am not racisit in the least nor is my mother and father or my brothers and sisters although I do have aunts and uncles that are.
I really think ppl that are racisit just can't accept differences, not just color but most of my family that is racisist can't even stand overwieght ppl or tall ppl or ANYONE that is different from them.
I try to tell these f*cked up morons that there is only one judge so just sit back and let my father do his job. Look to the sky and pray for yourself.
The wort part about that is most of them when told that tell me that they are the almighty judge and God has nothing to do with it.
I BEG TO DIFFER!

to stockpicker please get your facts straight and dont group all blacks together. and to jon, difference in culture or belief still shouldn't be a reason to hate anyone else.

We are technically the same, but unfortunately racism will always be there because people dont take the time to get to know people who are different from them. Kids also seem to be brought up that way.

When I was in 3rdish grade (going to a Christian school which makes it worse) some kid who was younger than me called me the n word. Thinking about it now, I doubt he actually new the history behind it, but he had to have heard it from his parents or someone of authority over him. If racists keep teaching their kids to be racists it will always exist. If something bad happens with a specific race, kids may also assume everyone of that race is like that. Basically people are just too quick to judge, give into stereotypes and I guess its probably easier for them to hate rather than try to understand.

Awww get over it!! Your people have a monoply on pro sports now,, and now you've got white people listening to your crappy music thinking it's good stuff when it actually sucks. To say that we're all one and the same is far from the truth. People think that racists, if they exist, base their judgments simply on skin color, when it's really about difference in culture and beliefs. I don't dislike blacks or other ethnic people, just the ones that use the race card every time someone supposedly doesn't give them special treatment or a fair deal in life. Life hasn't been fair to me lately, but i don't go around bitching that it's because of the color of my skin. How come everyone thinks whites have it so good.....hardly!!

Unfortunately, American blacks are the most racist people on Earth. They have chosen to divide themselves from mainstream society and have their own language ("Ebonics"...), their own culture (Hip-hop...) and their own ethical standards, which is why a far larger percentage of the black population is in prison than any other group.

But when we mention it, suddenly whites are racists. There are known facts and still we are racist. I would never dream of calling women B***es and Ho*s, "sing" about pooping a cap in someone's a$$ and not even know basic math or English.
It is a shame what has happened to blacks in America. Really, really shameful.

These things I say are not racist at all. They are simple facts. My question is: when are young blacks going to wake up to the fact that you are destroying everything that has ever been given to you as rightful men and women? When are you going to take control of yourselves, stop dealing drugs, stop having babies and go to school?
The easy thing to do is to get a pistol and shoot me.
The hard thing is passing Algebra II.
Think about it.

the answer as to why some people are racists is that although we differ in so many ways. considering the universe as a whole,we have differences in height, size, colour etc and among families there is the issue of individual differences where siblings do not come into agreement as to who should be heared.also no humanbeing wants to feel inferior but superior.i do agree with u so much that we are equal and should be treated the same but untill these issues are solved, the ? WILL REMAIN THE SAME.it is left to each individual to help delete racism within ourselves sincs we are our own enemies

People are racist because they think that they are superior to others. Or, take for example. some whites don't like blacks because of the things they see them do on television. Like stealing, shooting people, etc.
But the truth is, it's the same for the whites.
So in the end, it's stupid to be racist because both sides do have flaws. No human being is ever perfect, except for Mother Mary (if you're religious, you know she was born without sin).

Because people are insecure. Hey, I hear ya. I'm like, "What the heck is the problem here?" I'm black, your white. Blah, blah, blah, get over it. Minnie M said it best. As long as we have eyes, there will be racism and prejudice. You know, if it's not a color thing, it's a gender thing. If it's not color, or sex, it's religion. We as human beings are out of control. Seriously. I think the world needs Prozac and an enema.

I thought EXACTLY about that a couple of days ago... I cannot understand why people cannot accept different cultures, their different believes, etc... because the truth is, all people are good, but they are raised since childhood not to accept ¨different¨ people from their cultures... The truth si that its the most interesting to get to know other cultures, their ideas, etc... LOVE to meet people from other countries... but sadly, as I said before, MANY are raised since childhoold to hate others that are different from them, so its difficult to try and change them... although life teach somehow all razist... so dont worry, and dont you be a razist, dont do to anybody what you dont want them to do it to you... :)

We are all part of the human race dysfunctional family...
The best thing to do is to go on living your life and being a good person...People are going to be ignorant and have their beliefs leave them to it. The most important thing is to not give ignorant people anything to talk about.
