be sent to an late grave?

I don't think it works that way. Early grave means too soon and I guess a late grave would mean they should of died sooner right?

I guess if a person is like a cat and has nine lives. For example if they narrowly escaped death in some way. They could be living on borrowed time and in such would be sent to a late grave.

I know people who will be late for their own funeral because they have never been on time for anything.
