I know I bite mine out of habit. Besides, it's a (common, but very sanitary) way of dealing with nervousness or stress. I mean, after I got into a car accident...I had no nails for quite some time...

When we are nervous, we often absent-mindedly pick up on little bad habits, such as biting nails. Its a natural thing, just not the 'best' thing. Heh

I truly have an identical difficulty. I advise getting specific nail polish that style undesirable. That DIDNT artwork for me although. What worked for me is I have been given pretend nails or gels or in spite of so i could no longer chew my nails for awhile so I sort if forgot approximately it and that i did no longer would desire to chew them

not really sure. maybe they are nervous or dont know what to do with their hands haha. i used to bite my nails and they were all short and ugly. i heard that nibbling on carrots helps stop the nail biting. and hwat do you know! it worked haha!

cuz when they're stressed/ worried, they want to do anything to forget wat's stressing/worrying them so the closest thing is their hand!!! they can't bite their hand cuz they'll be hurt so they go for the nails ;)
