I'm about 18wks and have been feeling the baby moving for about 1 1/2wks now. But some days it's like I can only feel it move once or twice and others it's a lot more. Should I be feeling it more often this early?? 1st pregnancy!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!

My last baby hardly ever moved at all. I was really worried. Ultrasound said it was a healthy baby girl. Of course, after 3 boys I was excited. But then, along came boy #4. But I was still happy. 2 legs, 2 arms, 10 toes, 10 fingers and healthy and happy. I'm sure you're little one is fine too, just quiet.

Calm down, just like you the baby gets tired. Some days the baby is more active than other days. If your doctor doesn't see a problem everything is fine. The baby also could be moving and you can't feel it. Just enjoy the life growing inside you. Its amazing what two people can come together to make!!

Hun babies are lil people with personalities already... some are more active than others and it changes day to day....but don't worry...u will be feeling plenty in the last trimester~lol.
the only time to worry is when u haven't felt him in 4-6 hours. To check u can drink some water or eat something and lie on ur back. (U can feel them better that way) and wait to see if he moves. If u have any concerns call ur doc.... that's what he is there for
good luck and congrats

At this stage in your pregnancy the baby still has plenty of room to swim around. It isn't unusual to go without feeling the baby move for hours some times a day without moving. Believe me when that little one really starts moving you'll be praying for the little one to sleep. Good luck and congrats!

As the baby grows, you will feel him/her move more frequently. As long as you are feeling the baby, try not to worry. Make a note to definitely mention your concerns to you doctor at your next appointment. Perhaps they will want to do a sonogram to insure that all is well with the baby, and to give you peace of mind.

You may just have a very calm, content baby. My first one was like that, and she still is 21 years later. My second child was always kicking to get out -- and he is still like that now!

Good luck to you!

oh, honey, don't worry yourself...there's gonna be days you don't feel your baby at all, some you do...it's normal and ok!!!
as a matter of fact, i have a theory that's been proven so far by many of my friends who are mothers...the more your child moves, the more hyper he/she tends to be out of the belly...lol

but seriously, don't worry about it...the baby is still small and trust me, you'll be thankful later on if your baby doesn't kick your belly button out of your stomach...mine kicked so hard, i bruised on my belly...

If you have any concern I would bring it up to your Dr. But I don't think you have anything to worry about.
