No I would not, all it would do is make me sad and depressed. I am already afraid to live life, if I knew what day my death was going to be, I would probably have to be put in a mental hospital. I don't care how many risk you would be willing to take, because you knew you could not die until that day. I think life would have even less meaning. I don't think you could be yourself because it would all be about pushing the envelope because nothing will kill you until that day. So better off not knowing when you will die.

Christians might want to know, so they could start being good the last few days before they expected to die. At the moment, they are not sure when the day will come, so they have to play at being nice just in case.

Yes, i'd not like knowing but i could them prepare my son for what was going to happen, i could do all the things i ever wanted to do, take my son places, amke sure everything was sorted so after i was gone he was well looked after, had everything he ever needed and never forgot me. The last days would be spent wit him just watching him smile and play and be himself.

I really do not know. On one hand, if you knew, you could make sure that all was right with God. You could make sure your finances were taken care of, and that you had told everyone how much they had meant to you. On the other hand, you would be scared, knowing that death is the ultimate unknown.

If I knew, I could prepare my family for when it happens and I could live my life more to the full than I do now not knowing. (I think I got that down right) ;o)

No way, you'd have that knowledge there at the back of your mind, and no matter how strong you think you are, it would have an effect on you. If you told your family, it would affect them too.

I'd want it to hit me unexpectedly.

Yes, for many reasons. One is that I will know how much my life here is important or if I am here just as tourist or traveller.
