Depends on CT laws. In many states, someone your age can get a waiver from school that says the kid is doing well in class and is allowed to get a job. Don't expect it to be anything exciting. Most likely fast food, minimum wage stuff. Probably not more than about 15 hours a week. Be prepared to get the icky jobs and not much money for your work. It's okay, though. This is the way to independence, self-reliance, and a sense of self-worth. A good work ethic is a very valuable asset. It will do you well in later life.
Talk to your parents, call the local school board, and ask for apps at fast-food restaurants and mall stores. Oh, yeah, maybe movie theaters, too.
If you can't get a "real" job, there's always odd jobs like yard work, babysitting, car washing, etc. Walk around your neighborhood and find out who needs help and what they'll pay for it. Work is work, whether it comes with a weekly paycheck or just a little cash in hand.
Good luck!

I know the govt limits the hours that a 15 year old can work as opposed to a 16 year old. It may be tough getting a job at your age.

Try to get a job in a fruit stand or a grocery store doing deliveries. You could also get a paper route. There are tonnes of jobs out there for young people who want to work, but you have to want to work. You could also try to volunteer because this looks very good on and application

I don't live in Connecticut, but try your local grocery stores. Most hire baggers at age 15. Or you could try doing odd jobs for your neighbors (cutting lawns, walking dogs, etc). If all else fails, try opening your own backpack store. Buy some candy, chips, & things, take them to school and sell them. Make sure the school is ok with that first!!

Cart boy or a bagger at a supermarket. You can also try restaurants for bus boy or dishwasher, it's crappy work but you gotta make money somehow! My 1st job was at a gas station, I did things like stock the drinks and sweep the floors, I was 14.

You can definitely get a job, but it might have to be at a fast food place. It's a good experience, in that it's the worst job I've ever had, so your next job you won't dislike so much.
