ipod restart?

how do you restart your ipod if its like glitching and stuff. you know to get it to restet or something.

first plug it into a power sorce then press the menu and the middle button until the apple logo shows up than let it charge for a while

Download http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/ and update it. Sometimes holding the middle button and the menu button at the same time makes the iPod work again. Or charging it should work.

hold the middle and menu button at the same time it shows the apple logo and it should work
