It's both printers, so it's not a printer problem. When my laser is hooked up it often causes a restart, whereas not so much with the deskjet.

try redownloading the software and drivers for your printers. unplug both printers and reinstall everything. that might fix your problem

Sounds like drivers. uninstall both printers, reboot, reinstall using the latest drivers downloaded from the manufacturers website.

no need to reinstall your driver, "just clean or align" your cartridge under the properties, then maintenance of your printer driver.

Note: it is depend to your printer model, but cleaning or aligning the most important
