I don't know. I guess that's why Mexicans don't cross the border to come here, we are such a poor country.
I guess in more densely populated places, like London, instead of having trailers, they have slums. Go figure.

Some people would rather spend there money on other things. If it was completely up to me I would rather spend our money on travel and entertainment than worry about what others think of me but I married into a family who buy into the stereotype that people who live in trailers are somehow less because of their choices. I bet if there was a study they would find out that the people in the trailers are alot better off financially than those who "look" rich in their houses.

Your problem is that you're confusing lifestyle with wealth.
You can be relatively poor and still live in a fairly nice home in this country. You can also be fairly well off and choose to live in a trailer if that's where you're most comfortable.
That's why the Clinton presidential library looks like a double-wide on stilts.

no one ever said the american people are rich. maybe this false idea of american is why so many illegal aliens come here. they think they'll get rich?
