Can anyone tell me whether Carlos Delgado will likely be playing in tomorrow's Mets-Braves game or not? I know he was slightly injured today...I don't have to work tomorrow and can actually watch, woo woo!!! Any opinions and is there a way to find batting rosters etc. anywhere online before games are played? Just curious.

He is on injury reports. USA Today updates their injury list several times a day. They currently show him as Out with day-to-day status, meaning a decision on whether or not to start him may not be made until right before game time, when line up cards are turned in.

If you're planning on going to the game, you'll just have to get your tickets and keep your fingers crossed. If you're going to watch the game on TV, keep your eyes posted on the injury list or team notes for the Mets.

They rested him on Friday, and he was able to walk off the field under his own power after being hit in the knee. I'm guessing that they may give him a day or two off to stay off the knee if there's any inflammation or swelling.

I'm not sure but given the fact the Mets enjoy a 12.5 game lead in the division as we approach August, I wouldn't be surprised if Willie Randolph gave Delgado the day off.

Willie will probably give him tomorrow off so he can have two days (Monday is an off day) to rest his knee. Besides, the crowd loves Julio Franco and Willie will put him in to get some AB's
