What is it that the American people want more than anything?

Fewer taxes. I know that that means the government does less for the people, but with the money you save, you can do that for yourself.

OK, call me a ******** optimist, but I still think the American people want Liberty more than anything. Problem is, they still have not worked out that no one is going to hand them their Liberty on a silver platter. You have to work for it. You have to fight the power trippers in every way you can. In the courtroom. In the ballot box. In the media. Any way you can. (You can't fight them with guns; they have more than you do, and the "legal" right to have them.)

We all want different things.
I, for one, want Europe to shut up and butt out. They have no help to offer yet always an opinion.
I want my government to back out of my life a little. Seatbelt laws make me nuts.
Affordable health care would be good.
Oh, and for the middle east to get a clue.
That's about it.
