A Question about Pirates of The Carribean 2... ?

In the movie, what does it mean when a pirate says "savy"? && also, on Jack Sparrow's crew, why is the chubby guy and the guy who's eye ball keeps falling out, on there? According to the first movie, I thought they were bad people.

savvy its just kind of a way to ask do you understand? and the those guys are named Pintel and Ragetti...they escaped from prison and were trying to steal the Pearl when the crew came back and they acted as if they were helping to get the boat into the water for them and joined the crew basically to keep themselves out of trouble...but basically they are back just to give some extra comedy but they pale in comparison to Capt. Jack lol :) at least in my opinion..hope this helps :)

Nope. i visit work out it this friday.. and that i'm f-ing excited!!!! i won't manage to attend!!! (they filmed the 2d and the third on an identical time, so optimistically Pirates of the Caribbean 3 comes out no longer too long after Pirates of the Caribbean 2!) :)

Savvy, means "Do you understand?"

Those guys were part of the crew of the Black Pearl, and came under Jack's captaincy when he got the ship back. But I think that they are more for comic relief than anything else.

First of all, did you mean "savvy"? This is the dictionary.com definition: Well informed and perceptive; shrewd. About those two pirates: They were on the original undead crew and are basically bad, but I think they are just there for comic relief and are portrayed as relatively harmless (and incredibly stupid).

savvy is like understand, and the 2 pirates escaped from wherever they were and found the pearl on an island and were trying to steal it
