You are 11. You don't need to worry about this kind of stuff. Go outside and play and stop worrying about your looks. You are still a child!

The only medical procedure to make someone taller is to break your legs and put in stretching rods (I have no idea what the proper name is.) But you have GOT to know that is for specific medical situations and NO doctor would do something like that for the sake of vanity.

Is there some reason you feel a strong need to be taller? I realize that being short can be emotionally hurtfull but I know you have more going for you than your height or lack of it.

For anyone who read this answer earlier I answered before I knew Kevin was only 11.

Kevin, you are a long way from being too short. you still have 9 - 10 years of growing to do. Besides, the things I said are really true, even if you do remain short in the grand scheme of things it just won't matter. Just use your personality, a good but gentle sense of humor and have confidence in yourself. When you become interested in girls (if you're not already) You will be just fine.

There are some ways to make yourself APPEAR a bit taller. You must start with your carriage. Hold your head up and keep your back and shoulders straight. Don't however do this to the point of stiffness. This will only draw attention to the fact that you feel uncomfortable about your height.

The very very best advise I can give you is forget about your height!!!! Draw on the good things about you. Do you have great eyes? Hey! use 'em. Most importantly everyone is drawn to someone with self-confidence and a great sense of humor

So, NO there is no way to make yourself taller in height, but just use what cha got babe. Believe me, that's all you'll ever need!

Wear stripes that are vertical. Horizontal ones shorten you. Don't wear belts if you can help it as they cut you in half. Wear shirts out and hung to about mid-hip. Too close to the waist level or too long will make you appear to be shorter. I don't know what the male equivalent to platform shoes are...probably some sort of boot...will give you height too. There are shots you can get but they are only used when someone has a real problem and this one sounds like self-image. Oh, slimming clothes with the above hints. The sloppy pants and shirts make EVERYONE dumpy!!!!

You're still going to grow if you're 11. Don't worry about it. You're taller than me and I'm 13!

You're only 11. You could conceivably grow for nearly another decade.

you can wear pin stipe pants, or vertically stiped clothing to make yourself appear taller, but unless you want surgery, then you should stick to tricking the human eye into seeing what it's not

I'd like to know myself. Stretching upwards was what my trainer made me to do but i think it all depends on your genes. you're born with heights.

umm well if youre really short, you can go to your doctor and he/she can help you out. i think one of my friends used to take medicine and wear special insoles in her shoes to help her grow or something. but talk to your doctor. =) in the mean time, you might want to learn to accept your height tho!
