Kinda confused on this one some say 18 some say 21 or some say 25? whats your opinion? :-)

Legal - 18, otherwise it varies from person to person depending on their maturity level.

When a man is old enough and mature enough to be responsible for his own decisions and actions. Say if a man joined the military at 17 then he should be classified as an adult. For women, who generally mature faster than men, 16 or 17. Thats why most state and federal laws say 18 or 21. Its a leeway for those that mature slower than others.

mostly people consider 18 to be an adult.
but then that raises the question, why can you go into the military and die, but you can't drink at that age?
age to me is relative. if you're mature enough to live completely on your own, have a job, pay your bills,etc. then you're an adult.
going by that, i was an adult at 16.
but when you are an adult is mostly a matter of opinion.

Definitely 18. Legally 18 also. Most people are judged to be 'mature' at this age.

You are an adult when you become 100% independent regardless of age but i would have to say 20.

I rread in some article that girls are alduts at 18 and boys 21 because girls tend to act older
