someone who is centred within and doesn't get too upset by the up and downs of life. Certainly doesn't blame others for their sufferings, but respects suffering as part of learning and therefore part of the joy of being alive. Never takes their life for granted, or the lives of others for granted either.

I consider a spiritual person one who has found a power greater than themselves. A person that believes there is a plan for their life which has not been revealed . There is a certain feeling of peace when problems arise. A spiritual person is willing to help others.

Spiritual people shouldn't be "Bible thumpers." By that I mean every sentence that comes out of their mouths is scriptures. Spirituality is a way of life. It is the way you carry yourself on a daily basis. It is knowing that you are human and you still make mistakes but through your faith you are still have some good. You will be forgiven. It is a buffer against the world's way..

Being connected with nature and finding comfort and awe by being outside (realizing that you can get a feeling of peace and tranquility in those places and not necessarily in a religious house of worship).

Understanding that we as humans are all connected by our humanity.

Understanding that we are connected to other living things, too, and not necessarily "superior" to them.
