im a girl and an older women told me that she loves me as a daughter what does this mean and your not related.

It means she loves you like a daughter.. Duh.
there are two friends of my kids that I think of as sons. We are no relation. We're just close to them. Like a family. You don't have to be related to love some one. If that was true then things like adoption wouldn't work and all birth parents would do what's best for the kids they have. We know that's not true.

I've got two children of my own who I dearly love. I've also got two children who I claim as my own, even though their mother and I are just friends and have never been any more than that. They claim me as their father too. I love them just as much as I do my Children by blood. They call me dad. A friend of this friend also has a daughter who, although she has a father, he's not a very good one. When she was about 8 yrs. old we became close. She is now 19 yrs. old. We love each other as father and daughter. Out of all of them I have 8 grand children. They are being raised to know me as Their grand father. They are all my family and I love them equally.

just that she likes you as much as she likes a daughter or like a good friend. i adopted a daughter 20 yrs ago she is not related to me has not ever lived with me but her 2 kids think i am grandpa.

even you are not her daughter she can say you that she loves you as a daughter. sometimes when we see someone we fell like we have some relation with them, may be this is like the one.

People are so paranoid these days, it's no wonder that you would ask that.
But, she is most likely just trying to tell you that she honestly cares about you.
Maybe you have treated her with kindness, and she is showing kindness in return.

it means to her you are family and you have a very special place in her heart you should be honnored I have been told that ( not the daughter part lol)
