The CLEAT difference is this:
For a AA degree you need all classes under your major AND GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES(ALL).

For Certificate you need ALL classes under your major but NOT GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES.

Depending on the major the time to get the deg. varies and by the way average is 3 years or 2.5 not 2 anymore.

AA IS BETTER..but one you aim for AA then you can get the certificate and AA at the same time. So you hit 2 stones with 1 stick.
