If you get several great answers to your question -how do you choose a best answer?

if they are all good answers or the same answers choose the one who answered first or more politely or the most informative with sources to the answer i always choose the first one with a good answer and a good source i can read more about it

It is hard sometimes when all the answers are great. I had that problem and just left it up to the voters, though I did write a short note to tell them all how I enjoyed their answers bt clicking on "add details". I wish they had a "favorite answers" button, then we could choose several of them!

If you have to choose between best answers go with the one with the cutest avatar. But DO NOT use this method just to choose the best answer, only use it in case of a tie.

Pick it at random and live with it. I usually break ties by picking the FIRST answer that works best.

it is hard...i usually narrow it down between the best ones and then see which one is longer...i give the points to the person who put the most time and thought into their answer...

If an answer is given and you feel that answer would be yours, if someone else asked the question, then pick it.
