Okay heres the thing. I've spent alot of money on make up this summer, and I've got so many beautiful eyeshadows from Bobbi Brown, MAC, Clinique, Dior etc.etc.

From what I understand I'm appliying it right (with an eyeshadow base and brushes etc.) but... Every shade I put on looks exactly the same on me??? Weather it's Green or Black.. It looks the same...
any tips? or advice?

hey! try using a dark or neutral base color then use a brighter accent color and use an applicator brush and dab on the accent color lightly over the base .. VERY lightly put the accent color over the top of your eyes between the crease of the eye and eyebrow and bring it out past the eye, level with the corner of your eye. Hope this helps!

Try applying it with a wet brush. I do this a lot with mac...I'm sure bobbi brown will take wet application just as well. the pigments are more condensed when you add water. make sure you blend the edges of the color really well though, or it can look clownish. If you bought all dark colors, try using a white, or light taupe cream shadow instead of an eye base it will lighten your lids so whatever you apply on top will show up better. if you use a light color on the inside corner of your eyes (by your tear ducts) on top and bottom, it makes your eyes seem bigger and brighter too

I have attempted each and I choose powder best due to the fact that the liquid eyeshadow has a tendency to get sticky and messy. But, I might nonetheless supply it a take a look at. To use it on your eyes I might get a tube sort and squeeze approximately a pea measurement quantity onto your index finger after which lightly rub it for your eye. I use smokey colours and purples(I have inexperienced eyes). You will have to take a look at vegetables and blues.

Don't listen when people tell you it depends on your hair color bcuz that's NOT TRU!!!! it depends on what skin tone you have for example...if your skin tone is REALLY pale you aren't going to wear dark red or bright pink...i would try to blend in the eyeshadow w/ your skin color...the only color eyeshadow i wear is light brown w/ glitter bcuz i love the way it looks compared to my skin tone...so most of the colors that look the best prob. won't change any but you can tell if a color looks really bad bcuz it'll stick out a lot....u DEFINATELY don't want that!! ;)

Try to wear a bright eye shadow color. If you have dark skin, dark colors will just blend right in with your eye. Here are some makeup color tips.

Brunettes look best in green, blue or black.

Blondes look best in pink or red.

Redheads look best in black.

And people with black hair look good in black or green.

I hope my advice helped!

Yeah, I put on different colored eyeshadow before, and they don't really show. You can try putting on more or adding the same colored sparkles on your eyes.
