How does he get in your account?

Quit using kiddy passwords. Make a very strong password and do not write it down where he can find it. I use a Password program that has almost 30 different passwords I use. I only have to remember the Master Password for the program. The program I use is KeePass Password Safe. I is encrypted so he won't be able to hack it. It is free an you can download it here:

Microsoft.com, Google and many other sites have instructions for making a very strong pass word. Just do a Google search for "How do I make a strong password"
and you will get many sites.

Make you brother a "Limited User" and yourself an "Administrator". This can be accomplished by clicking "Start" > "Control Panel" > "User Accounts". Don't forget to set a password for your account.

Here is a video you can watch. The good info start at about the 2:30 mark: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8516621689631207307

Good luck!

(This assumes your sibling is not a hacker)

Make sure you are on the administrator account and put a password on it. Then he cannot remove it from his account. However if he finds out the admins password(your pw) then he can remove it so make it a hard pasword.

Is your brother the Computer Administrator ?
For him to delete your password he first must know it, right?
Change it to something he won't be able to figure out or guess.

Try using a mix of capital letters and small letter, and numbers. How old is your brother anyway? If he is younger then 18, tell your parents. If they don't do anything, then try saving important files on a backup disk.

I'm guessing that he has administrative priviledges (http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_get_administrative_privileges_on_windows_xp.html ), or he is good at hacking :-)
in either case, you're screwed.
if thats not the case....

Don't your parents help you in this regard? What he is doing is the same as stealing and vandalism.. only it's intellectual theft..

Slap him within an inch of his life if he does it again.
