I'm not sure it can be done. After all poverty is a relative term. What is considered poverty in one part of the world would be considered wealthy in others.

One thing is for sure. You can't eliminate poverty by throwing money at it. If you look at the records you will find that in the USofA we've managed to spend (and we are still spending on these programs) over 6 TRILLION dollars on programs that were supposed to eliminate poverty. In case one trillion is just a word to you, that's 1,000,000,000,000.

That amounts to $20,000 for every man woman and child in the USofA. And poverty is still here. I heard and I believe poor is attitude problem. Broke is a temporary situation.

I believe you don't have to be poor and you don't have to be broke either. It's all in how bad do YOU want to change YOUR situation. Government can't make you change. The Law can't make you change. You have to want to change. What will you have to change? What ever it takes.

Is changing easier for some than others? Sure. And some are luckier than others. But most of those people who are called lucky have put in a lot of time, study, practice, and effort getting lucky.

That would be nice but with the way alot of things are today it probally would be impossible. This country is full of homeless, welfare takes care of those in the slums, and people claim injuries and draw SSI. Not very much income for these individuals but we the taxpayers are still providing for them.
