Whats the point of getting a video Ipod if you dont put videos on it or use half the memory space?

Either the point is to show off that you have the coolest iPod, or you have a massive 30 or 60 gb stash of music. Logically there is not point in the iPod video if you dont put video on it.

The only point is that if you don't want a shuffle or a nano, the video is the only ipod option available (unless you buy used).
The ipod video is the same price as the ipod color or the ipod B&W... if you don't use it for videos, just enjoy the large color screen.

There is no point. Buy the one that suits you. In most cases, the iPod nano is all you really need. They've even upgraded to a 4GB model.

there isn't really a point!! but most people put video songs on them!but its a big waste of money if they dint put nothing on them!
