I get my period every 22 days. That is too frequent. I'd like to not have so many nasty bloody, agonizing periods throughout my life. Is there anything I could take or do to make them less frequent?

I too had period problems. Sometimes going on the pill will help regulate them (and acne). It will however not help with heavy flow problems. The deprivera shot can eliminate periods totally but you need to go in (I think) every 3 months. Good luck and ask your Dr about this.

you should ask your gynocologist to put you on birth control. this will regulate you periods. also your cramps want be as severe, your bleeding want be as heavy, and it want last as long. it will also help with the mood swings. if you are already on birth control, you should change to a diffrent one with more or less hormone levels.

You would have to talk to your doctor, and he could put you on certain kinds of birthcontrol.
