Many of the answers here on YA! seem to use Darwinism, and social Darwinism to bring to our attention that we behave in ways because of studies based on animals ...

While a good portion of the answers say anamals behave that way and we should act better than animals.

Actually, the correct approach would be, " Strive to imitate children." Our children are innocent and only once they are tainted by what they are taught, do they set out on a wrong course.. A child See's not with their eye's but with their heart... What could be a better approach to imitating someone than that...? So we as adults when blessed with children should look to them and thank GOD everyday for them. And raise them correctly... Even animals will kill when they need to, but we as humans do not have to fight wars if only love would play out and win... Imitate children and set good examples for them as well..

It is hard for humans to remember that we, too, are animals—yet, as humans we have more choice as to how we behave. Do unto others etc. vs. instinctual reaction.

Without the fear and example of failure there is no impetus for innovation or improvement. This occurs in nature, as it does in our artificial world.

We are animals, do not forget that. We are actually more like parasites when you really think about it.
