okay let me, rephase some of that
i understand that bands have to make a living, i hate it when there are good bands that can't

and i dont mind that they go mainstream

what i hate is when the bands start changing do to their popularity and become brainwashed by their own popularity, and forget about the true fans, and change their music

I wouldn't say it's gotten worse, I also would have to say that the BAND sold out. I mean either you do it for the music or for the fans or for the money. Most bands start out for the music and get addicted to the fans, but then like all jobs tire from all the crap, playing the same sounds, always on tour, and so on. So they want to retire. Well their career path was musician and so they must make enough money to end the career and retire.

I agree with you 100%. I was also worried about taking back sunday selling out when they moved to a major label and left victory records, and then I saw there video several times on MTV. What I don't like that MTV does is show the same video every five seconds until you start to hate the band. I don't think they have completely gotten a hold of taking back sunday, but they are starting to over play panic at the disco and AFI.

AFI was on a downward spiral musically since sing the sorrow.
panic! red jumpsuit appartus were majorly poppy to begin with. TBS had been gaining popularity before...and went more mainstream rock. and fall out boy. i'll take the blame for them getting on TV. that one was the fans fault. it's really point of view on what selling out is...it's not selling out if a band gets really popular...when lunch boxes come out...that is selling out. Also, bands want to make a living...

because they do no longer recognize any better. listening to somewhat sturdy music calls for a touch attempt in searching it, determining to purchase it, coping with it, and so on. like the guy above stated that is basically a remember of convenience. somewhat passionate music followers that i recognize do not worry with the proper 40 or MTV. With a touch attempt you'll locate significantly better this can be significantly better.

mtv and top 40 suck, this is true! but it's the bands fault as well!! i used to like afi..look at them now ugh!! the bands are the one that signed to the big labels...noone held a gun to their head and said "make this video for MTV"...they are ultimately responsible...

mtv is not selling them out. the bands themselves are selling out. its the bands that make the catchy music. mtv sucks anyway..but its the band's fault.
