it's okay. but if you want to get better at drawing, you should sit down with a pencil or pen and paper and draw from life. Yeah, 'still lifes' are boring, but it exercises your eye and your hand to recreate things realistically, and get a sense of how things actually 'look.' You can even shine a light on basic shapes (fruit, bottles, flowers, furniture, etc.) and notice how the light and shadows fall. This will give you a sense of how to recreate an image from life and make it look real.
The whole thing about being an artist is you have to practice, practice, practice...people will always say 'it's nice' or 'its better than i can do...' but that is not helpful to a person who really wants to be an artist, because it's not teaching you anything. A REAL 'critique' has to be critical or else it's just asking for compliments. So I think you should keep it up, but that computer 'art pad' program is not a very sophisticated way to improve as an artist. Pen and paper can yield much more interesting results. Good luck!

That's good for a novice. You have creativity which beelive it or not most "artists" don't get an actual drawing program and keep going. Once you get some more techniqu down, you'll find you have alot to offer the creative world.
