Depending on the area you are living, 50K is an average income or just a bit above.
With any kind of university study you should be able to reach this sum - and even without you'll make it if you make some extra courses and further education.
Managers, consultants, many bank and insurance people, computer specialists, doctors and other professions have this amount anyway - in some branches it's a bit harder.
Living in Switzerland, I earn more since being 24 (in 1997) - and now a multiple amount.

I have a home business in the health and wellness industry. I know of many people I work with who all earn over $10,000/mo. All it takes is a little hard work and dedication and you can earn however much you want.

I do, I have a high school diploma and some college credits. I'm a UPS driver, one of the best jobs you can get in this country with just a high school diploma. You gotta have good work ethic and a good attitude, though. This job ain't for everybody.

I work as a computer consultant. Have made well over $50K annually since 1994.
Hate to break it to you, but $50K isn't that much.
