Hands Down Albert Pujols is the best baseball player of this generation. His numbers speak for themselves. No player in history has had better stats in their first five or six years than this man. He has my vote for sure. When its all said and done, the greatest first baseman of all time. Watch, youll see.

Why are they still walking Bonds? Also, he hasn't committed an error in 72 games this season. Pujols has 3, which is great for a first baseman, but 0 errors in the outfield considering the way Bonds runs is pretty impressive.

Depends on what you want.

Hitting-David Ortiz

Pitching-Roy Halladay

Catching-Jim Edmonds

Catcher- Mike Piazza

Throwing-Derek Jeter

Running-Scott Posednik

Overall-This may surprise you but I say Vernon Wells or Derek Jeter. Their five tool players. You won't see them with 40 or 50 homers. But they'll give you 25 plus running skills, outfield, throwing everything. Kind of like Barry Bonds before he got all buff.

Statistically, Fat Albert is the best player in the bigs and if he didn't sit out out for that oblique strain, he would probably be in the hunt for the triple crown. Big Papi is right there in second...he just had another game winning hit on Saturday...he's awesome!
