The United States has been having the hottest weather on record. I live in the northeast, and I've seen the difference. I'm a believer in global warming; but what do you think about the weather we've been experiencing? Also, if the weather gets worse, how can we protect ourselves and go about it proactivly?

Our local TV station said that the weather was this way back in 1936 and even hotter. I just hope that it doesn't get any worse. I live in the Midwest and the temperature has been over 100 and the humidity is so bad that you can't stand to go outside longer than 10 minutes without almost passing out. The coolest part of a house is your basement, if for some reason that our electricity should go out like it did in St. Louis. Just keep a lot of water and stock up just in case you need it. Maybe we need to get down on our knees and pray for cooler weather.
