Yes, it is safer. But you'll never remember them all. Write them down, or if you would rather not, get a password-protected password manager to keep track of them. Just Yahoodle for "password manager" and you should get a bunch. Don't buy any. There are numerous freeware ones available. Here are a few good ones:

You don't have to remember all of them. Use an Encrypted Password storage program and then you only need to remember th Master Password you set up for the program.
Go here for many free programs to do this. I personally like KeePass Password Safe.

I would think so. Once someone has your password, then goes into different accounts of yours with same password. Then they have access to everything. Try to use different password for your different account. Write them down on paper and put in safe place.

Yes, but only if they are strong passwords, a very secure strong password is better than 6 weak passwords.
Make it as long as possible with numbers and allowed characters like ? & ! etc
Makes it harder to crack.
A good strong password should be alphanumeric, over 8 characters with upper and lowercase.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Yes it is and it's also a safe idea to use a combo of number and letters or a combo of small and CAPS. That way it's harder for someone to figure out your passwords. And don't use pets names, or your address and silly stuff like that.

It would be safe, but you should write them all down so you don't forget which password goes to what account.
