I was 13 or so and in a VERY bad place where I saw a very young girl raped and murdered for no other reason than the thrill the demon got from it, right beside me. I said nothing in fear of having the same happen to me.
THATS EVIL!!!!!!!

It is hard to pick one thing. My first thought was 9/11, as that was truly a day that earth turned into hell. I also saw that some one said the KKK was evil, and how very true that is. Anything or anyone that preaches and encourages hate is evil. Jesus encouraged love, any teaching that encourages anti-love (hate)is, in my opinion, evil. Any time I see something about child molesters, I think that is evil as well. Anyone that can mark a child like that for life and take away their innocence is evil. Children are to be cherished and nurtured, not abused. So what represents evil on earth? Human beings and some of the choices we make. I do not think; however, that human beings are inherently evil, we have a God given choice. I do understand that some people are born into certain situations that impedes their ability to make good choices, and what is evil in those cases is the situation that they had to grow up in. Again, that situation was caused by choices the adults in their life made (ex: substance abuse) and quite often it is just a vicious circle.

I was walking on the street, then, 2 boys were running away from 6 boys behind them, so the 6 Catch the two, and start punching them, not enough, one the aggressors broke a glass bottle and hurt the ones defenseless in the ground, I just kept walking feeling bad for not doing anything to stop them, there was evil in the six guys, yet, my acts were lacking of humanity acting just as if nothing was going on.

Children at play. Yes, I know how that makes me sound, and here is my reasoning: Nothing an adult does quite matches the pure, undiluted selfishness of small children and their inability for empathy. Once I witnessed a small visually impaired girl with chronic bronchitis and asthma being physically attacked and verbally and emotionally harassed by her peers, as well as older children. They called her "seal" because her chronic coughing sounded like the barking of a seal.
It's the pure senseless-ness of child cruelty; they are truly "innocent" both to what constitutes evil and to what constitutes good.

i was working as a sports supervisor for little kids in a park. i saw one of the kids ride up on his bike, so i said "good morning sunshine!" and all of a sudden this black man starts yelling at me.. then tells all the other black people walking around the track something and then they're all yelling at me too! for hours. i did not respond to this other than saying "i don't know what i did!"
but eventually the cops were called due to threats against me.
so the cop is mediating a discussion between this black man and i and i ask the man what i did wrong.. and he said "if you don't know you're even stupider than i thought" ok.. so i come to find out that sunshine is a racist term hailing from days of slavery (and he thought i was saying it to him).
so this is evil in two ways: 1) that there was slavery to begin with and 2) that due to human actions some people's minds are so negatively twisted that a normal phrase turns into something unimaginably horrible.

There are so many vices out there. It saddens me to see good, honest people do nothing about it.
The rape, torture and/or murder of any child horrifies me. To see that the youngest, most innocent, and the most defenseless among us are being hurt really takes a toll on me. It's so hard to believe that such injustice and evil is alive here and now.

What I have witnessed: a person saying things to a child (a 15 year old) just to hurt her, demean her and destroy her self-confidence. True evil on earth.

Honestly, no exaggeration, George W Bush and Karl Rove.
I define evil like M Scott Peck. Doing what you want to do regardless of who is hurt.
