Actually there is no exact law that says you can not sell YOUR OWN children. Seriously.

And in some states it is that simple. Like in California, if you have taken care of a child for 6 months with no contact from the parent, you can file for adoption based on abandonment and you get the child. I have seen this happen several times. All they do is ask the parents if they willingly gave their child to the person and it is approved.

Selling a human being is a federal offense in the U.S. Each year the U.S. government releases a study in human trafficking. Nearly all countries outlaw it however some do not enforce their laws due to either kickbacks or that it does help the country's economy -- China, for example, as young children are sold to work in factories or to orphanages where they are later "sold" to westerners seeking to adopt.

No one should ever be bought or sold as it takes away from the God-given right that all men and women are created equal and have the inalienable right to pursue justice, peace, and happiness.

Well, adoption agencies technically "Sell" children; if it is humane and the payment is understood on behalf of both parties - that they're paying for the medical, dental and hygienic care of the child, the keeping and the clothing and sheltering of it, until the point of "adoption".

When a child that is abducted from loved ones and sold on the blackmarket either to a family that wants it, to slavery or to a prostitution ring, I consider that wrong. The child was part of a family unit and was loved and needed.

I think is illegal to sell a child....because its a person and you can sell property but not lives.. Ok like your mom....she just got to raise you ...she didnt own you. I think that is the reason you cant sell a little person.

Sorry, no. You have to learn to love and accept your little brother. I know he can be a brat sometimes, but someday you two will share a very friendly brotherly bond.
