When I connect my phone to the cable that came with my phone my computer tries to connect but never does, and my phone does nothing. The computer just says "connecting..." untill i close it. I have let it sit for up to 20 min.

i work for verizon wireless data tech support and ive helped ppl with this problem before. what you need to do is unistall your active sync software and go to www.microsoft.com and download the latest version of active sync (4.2). when you install it make sure that youre not running any antivirus, popup blockers, firewalls, ect. you just want to disable them while installing the software. after its installed you enable them again. (the reasoning behind disabling the computers protection is because it can cause conflicts with the software.) after the software is reinstalled hook up your phone to your pc and do a syncrinization. if youre still unable to do a syncrinization you should call your service ppl for additional tech support.(hopefully you wont need anymore though)
