Unfortunately, if he was really happy with his situation with you, he would not be interested in getting back with his ex.

My advise is to let him decide who he really wants to be with. If he chooses to go back with his ex, let him go and keep him out of your life permanently. There is a good chance that he might come knocking on your door if things fail with her. There is an equally good chance the he will pull the same stunt again if you let him back in your life.

If, on the other hand, he chooses to remain with you, you have every right to tell him that you do not want him communicating with his ex since she obviously wants him back. Having her compete is not healthy for your relationship.

If he leaves you, it may be painful but time does heal those wounds and you can then set yourself up to find a new relationship with somebody who has no baggage and truly wants to spend their life with you.

I wish you all the best!

Good grief, girl..you have just been slapped hard in the face...what does it take for you to get offended? You can choose to live in your own dream world, or get out of the house and find reality...there are plenty of men out there. He is just one of them who belongs to the past. You need to concentrate on the future. If you let your past cloud your future, you won't have one. Good luck, and I mean that. You are hurting right now, but the nice thing about pain is that it stops if you make it stop. Getting over someone is NOT as hard as we make it out to be. Start today by saying to yourself, and meaning it, "If he were to come begging at my door, I would slam it in his face." For that is exactly what he would deserve. ON the other hand, he deserves to find happiness, and it is not going to be with you..he has said that loud and clear.

This seems to me that the guy is using you as a back up girl. You are worth more than that, so I say you look for a nicer guy who will treat you the best. Becasue no girl is worth a guy that won't adore her, and love her with all his heart.

just leave the loser alone. he sounds like a #1 JERK. it might be hard, but he is not worth the trouble of hanging onto. go on with your life. there are more fish in the sea. remember, your next catch could be the forever man in your life.
