Why do some people have no sense of humor with these questions?

Question

I had a question in the marriage category about letting my husband off of his leash tonight. It was a joke. We have a great marriage and we have lots of laughs together. Yet some people have to give very nasty judgmental answers. Who are they to judge? Every day I have to look out my window and see that huge empty space which was once the World Trade Center. I worked there for 11 years. I ate in the restaurants at the Trade Center, shopped in the stores and one day it all ended. So what it so wrong with trying to have a sense of humor and laugh at life. Why do people have to be so rude and mean?????

I thought your question was very funny! They are just taking it the wrong way. I thought the fact that your question was offered lightly and intended in a humorous way was obvious, but perception is a screwy little thing. As I said before, enjoy your cocktails tonight! Imagine how awful it must be to live inside the skin of those people with no sense of humor, i think its worse being them than putting up with their crap is for us! I think for one of your cocktails tonight you should make a toast to all the poor souls with no sense of humor....CHEERS!

I like the Leash Idea...don't stop. Some people here just have no sense of humor in life...feel sorry for them...they have a rough enough way to go through life as it is. And, I will say that when you write something, there is no vocal inflection, it is only hard words...it is easy to mistake the written word as something it is not intended to be. I see the same thing happen here over and over...questions obviously meant to be humorous are taken as real...well, so be it. Now, back to that leash thing. ...... :-)

I would assume it's because they seek the answers to the SIMPLEST questions of life on a web site. If they actually got away from the warm glow of their monitors and looked someone in the eye and felt the warmth of the suns rays. They will become more comfortable with the idea that people have a sense of humor.

I thought it was funny.I live in the dog house most of the time so when I do get out I like to have a good time.People should not go through life without a little for every now and then.

Yeah, a good style of the time. i'm going to snigger approximately very almost something... different than matters that are fairly gentle with me like animal abuse and racism. i do no longer think of something approximately the two of those is humorous in any respect, and if I pay attention somebody making some kinda comedian tale approximately it I often become a brilliant b.i.tch and contact them on it.

I very rarely recognise an attempt at humor. i am very literal minded. If I do understand that a person is trying to be funny, I usually do not understand the point. I do not get jokes. I am often annoyed by a person's humor about my stuff which is not funny to me at all.

people are so stuck up and they dont learn manners all they can do is laugh at people and when people laugh at them then they get pissed so they think its ok for them to laugh at people and not ok for people to laugh at them
