Why do the women get the most our of divorces? I have seen in so many divorces the man basically getting screwed out of a lot of his stuff and he hardly gets anything. I think women should get what is theres and men should get what is theres. And then men pay a sum of money to the woman. Yes i know the woman went through childbirth and thats why i say they should get a little extra.

This is on the relationship of Paul McCartney. He's getting ready to get a divorce and i hardly find it fair that his wife will get half of what he did and made. He made himself rich and has everything. And now that he will be getting a divorce the woman will get half of his earned estate and money.

What is everyone's thoughts on this.

If you have something worth taking you should get a pre-nup, I was actually looking forward to seeing how much Nick got from Jessica, but I guess he isn't cutthroat enough.

Does Paul McCartney live in CA? CA is a community property state which means that everything is split 50/50 regardless of who made more or whatever unles there's a pre-nup. Women usually get more because typically, men make more money than women. Women still haven't achieved equal pay for equal work. Men are still typically known as the breadwinners on the family. Women usually get custody of the kids and the men still have to take care of the kids.

Fair? ?????

ALL is fair in love and war, so they say.

Unless he had a pre-nup (which "they" say he did NOT), the court will decide how much of his wealth she will get.

And even if she does get half (he can afford a better lawyer than she can), chances are, he will still be wealthier than you and I put together...so no sympathy from me.

She will not neccessarily get half as he earned the preponderance of his estate before he met her. But she did not sign a prenup, as Paul did not want her to.
She is a far cry from Linda.
