Humanity, just like other animals, has carnality. In determining why men like their girls to talk dirty, we must absolutely not use common stereotypes. One thing might be the fact that when a man is aroused, having the girl talk dirty helps him getting more engaged with the desired feeling.
Not all men are like that however. Some try their best to abstain from sexuality.

In my experience, they want you to talk dirty to them but they don't want to know if you ever talked dirty to any other man. Just something that makes them feel like you would "cross a line" for them. It makes them feel special. Kind of a long winded repeat of what Elizabeth G said.
