What is the difference between an"old" vs. "new" reverse on quarter eagles dating between 1859-61?

I can't seem to find any pictures online to physically see the difference between the two types of reverse. Anybody know?

The old reverse has the words nearly touching the picture on the reverse.

The new reverse has a noticble gap.
