As high as you can walk in, I suppose. For me, reasonability stops at maximum three and a half to four inches. I say if you want height, go for wedges instead of heels-- comfortable AND very cute. If you're just looking for the style of high heels, I'd say grab a pair of flats; there are lots of styles out nowadays that look just like heels--without the heel part. Comfort is the ultimate factor.

I think 1 1/2 to 2 inches brings out just enough calf to look sexy. Taller than that and you are just asking for a fall down the stairs.

You mean as in safety and comfort? If so, no heels are good for your feet.
If you're talking about sexiness-wise...I'd say 5 inches are the hottest.

3 inches, it not olny looks sexy, but women are usually an a verage of 5 inches shorter than men, so 3" heels reduce the margin and in my expierience guys look at legs, and when they notice cutesy shoes, they're hooked!!!

i LOVE two-inch black heel-and-toe pumps that emanate sheer off under the light. those are the perfect shoes for me.
