Your Parents may still see you as their little one, and in there eyes you will always be there baby. They love you and only wants whats best for you and is afraid to let you do certain things because they don't want nothing to happen to you. My mother is very over protective, I'm 22 years old in the world eye I'm a adult but in her eye I am here little girl. No matter what I say or do, and no mater where I go she is still going to be my mother. Try to let your parents know that you are responsible, Don't tell them show them. And when you ever have conversations with them always talk positive about what other do your age and what you will never do.

Because they are afraid that something might happen to you. They probably truly trust you but it's the people around you that they don't. There are many crazy things going on in this world, one example is date-rape. A guy may show his affection to you and yet have some dastardly thoughts against you. Talk to them. If worst comes to worst, never let your friends just leave you in a party. Also, don't accept any drinks from any boys, might contain drugs.

dont stress my parents are the same way, but now that im turning 16 they respect and trust me enough to let me make my own decisions. i understand em in a way. my 1/2 sister had to be kicked out the house for "messing around" with so many guys. im like .. the last hope to " do it right "

it's normal for teens now days when they party to have a lot of drugs and sex. they was 10 years ago when i was partying. (i'd hate to imagine it now!) your parents know that. they are only protecting someone they love. you should be thankful for that. some kids parents don't even care where they are. just count your blessings that you have good parents. respect them.

My parents never let me either. That's why I moved out as soon as I graduated ( well........... about a month later ) I was not even allowed to cross the road by myself until I was in 8th grade ! That's how bad it was for me !

because ur parents worry about u..htey know what they did when they were 15 and they don't want u to do those things....try to see it from their perspective...but if u really want to go to a party then sit down and talk with ur parents like a mature adult....but whatever u do don't yell...it makes u look like a baby and they won't listen to what ur saying.

they're scared you'll get yourself into trouble, because they really really care about you. my parents can't hold me down, and they know it. I'm not the kind to be held in one spot, except for by one special guy, my new BF. all you have to do is talk to them, tell them you feel like they can trust you not to do somthing so stupid as to get high/drunk or have sex right as soon as you go anywhere.
