Look in the phone book under children's entertainers and start from there! Also try putting it in the bt.com website - I do not know enough about the area to know which are close!

I bought a book from Waterstones on face painting designs and then asked a friend to do it. (Usborne Books are pretty easy to follow). Children really like the paint on the face, not necessarily how good it is going to be. You can do simple things such as England flags or even a tiger face. (Butterflies are the hardest)
You could probably get all the equipment for about £15 and then still charge for charity. I even raffled the book at the end when I held a charity BBQ.
