truly, you have more to worry about then just silly things like your 8 year old trying on girls clothing.

this is normal for youngsters to do silly stuff like this....you should not worry about this....in so far as your daughter wanting revenge; WHY.......how petty can she be???? I would talk to her and let her know that youngsters do such things and she should be more understanding......I would understand, if he went to school wearing one of her dresses, hoes, and high-heels... then I would say this is more....but just around the house monkeying around....get over it........................

Well, i think all boys went through the dressing in womens clothes, (well not all, lol, but some) at one point in their life. Letting her get revenge, might scare him away from his exploration now, which would make him question it later on. Even if they apear as if they were joking, there's reasons behind it.

But if you feel he did it to make fun of her, or to get her mad, then maybe you should talk to him, about respecting other peoples personal belongings.

I'm assuming your daughter is much older than your son? even by 2-7 years? Explain to her, that he's young still, and just wanted to be like her.

I don't think so. You should just tell your son to apologize or something like that. There shouldn't be any violence. Or you could give her a chance to get revenge. It all depends on what you think. Cause everybody does what's best for their kids.
