Cover girl is probably my personal favorite, mostly because of all the varities, and they have very complimenting colors. Plus, if you use it right, it will go much longer, than other cosmetics, they really add more volume in their packaging. (so price sort of evens out investment wise, atleast for me.)

The cheapest makeup there is, would have to be, NYC, grocery stores usually care them, and pharmacies. They are usually 99 cents to 6 dollars.

I'd say Revoln is the best for drugs store makeup, which is all around the same price, and pretty cheap compared to department store makeup.

L'Oreal is the best overall drugstore brand, Maybelline being second (Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal), Revlon and Almay are also pretty good as is Neutrogena, but its products are limited. I'm not a fan of Cover Girl or Max Factor.

i actually posted the sam question a few days ago,, and i couldnt agree more with the rsults... i am now using covergirl.. its the greatest makeup you can get at the price.. you would want to watch out for the ELF cosmetics.. they will cause you to break out.. the wet n wild ones also harm your face.. especially their lipgloss and eyeliner.. the lip glosses dry your lips too much and the eyeliners irritate the eyes.. but of course each skin's reaction to makeup is different so.. im just telling you to watch out.. u dont wanna waste your money..trust me.. covergirl will look great on you.. gluck!! :)

N.Y.C... I swear on it, especially for lipstick, gloss and concealer. Now, as far as liquid foundation, Maybelline Fresh Express is phenomenal. I think the one thing to actually invest in, is some good mascara- there are some really good ones out there: the best one I have found is Maybelline Lash Stylist.
