It just is. Being a man of financial means, I totally can relate.
It really depends on where you meet the woman, If you met her at the country club or some social function, perhaps in an exclusive "rodeo drive" type area; She probably knows/assumes you have money. But if you meet her somewhere that doesn't give her a clue about your status, then I kinda do something like "Lulu" suggested.
If successful in getting a date I certainly don't present myself as a man of means. I don't show up driving my Lexus. I drive my Malibu instead.
Take her to a nice "mass marketed" restaurant. Such as an Outback steak house, Applebees, Tumbleweed, Etc. No "White linen" restaurants!
I am fortunate enough to own some investment property where I maintain a modest studio apartment. As far as she knows; this is where I live. Also as far as she knows I am "on-site" manager, rather than the property owner.
Then once it feels right. Then I'll disclose a little more. I did this and eventually got married. Eventually divorced. Thank goodness for the 'pre-nuptial'!!
If you can't find a woman that has her own money or a business woman. Try looking at nurses'. They are typically intelligent, articulate, and make there own money. They're not lazy, they've had to study and work hard to get where they are. Something I'm sure you can appreciate.
But unfortunately being a man of means, One can't help but feel the way you do. But as long as it's an unmarried relationship, don't worry about if she wants money. Have a good time, enjoy yourself, Then if it's not working out or she presses you for marriage; Move on.

Because "you're looking for love in all the wrong places. Looking for love in too many places..." sorry, couldn't help singing the Urban Cowboy song.
Anyway, you are not going to find anyone by avoiding dating. Look for women who work in the medical field (they enjoy helping others, not taking from others), the teaching field (they enjoy watching people discover and learn new things), the high tech fields (they definitely aren't interested in your money), or someone who genuinely enjoys making this world a better place. Look for someone who can be your best friend. Just don't stop looking...

Depends on what you're really looking for. Not all women are looking for a "free ride," but if you're writing them off because they're not your perception of a perfect woman (thin, big boobs, etc - not saying you do, but painting a picture), then yeah, you aren't going to find many.

Look buddy! Sell that nice car, move in to a trailer, wear jeans and live poor. Then if you meet someone they will like you for you!
Really, I think it might go back to when the “man was the provider” and women wanted a secure life for them and their kids. Personally, I think I want to fall in love with a woman with money who will support me in a good life! (smile)

The same reason why its hard for a woman to find a man who isn't just looking to get laid.
Karma, I guess.

If you're really worried about gold digging women then try to get her to fall for who YOU are and not your material wealth. Don't put yourself in those situations where she may find out how much money you really have.

If a man isn't able to provide financial support , she needs to purchase everything by her own, because he doesn't want to spend even penny for her , so why does she need such a "man"?

Well aren't you looking for a ride too.
It's called a symbiotic relationship.
Unless she is a parasite.
