Those were my three choices, except I wanted to be a Marine Biologist. Go with your heart. If your heart goes to being with helping kids because they have a troubled mind, then do that. If you want to make the population grow in the marine world, then do that. If you want a big risk and power and enormous plane and travel all over the world, then do that. Here is a test I made up, but this is to show that you love all these things. It may help lead you to your choice.

A child is in need of someone to talk to. His mind is being filled with cussing words. His lungs filled with smoke. Bruises all over his body. You do a much work, send his parents to a place to get help, and the boy to a place to talk to someone about this stress, with others very much like him.. Now they are one big happy family.

A baby whale, helpless without his mothers milk. He is sick and is in desperate need of food. At all odds, this baby whale is on the verge of death. If you could save it, that is one more whale still alive. She grows and grows. She gets healthier everyday. You release her into the ocean. Years later, you hear the news that she has a newborn. It wouldn't have been possible without you.

You are in the pilots seat. You lift an enormous plane into the air. As is flies, you are one with the sky, in tune with everything around. As you decline in parts of this world you didn't know existed. You see the world. Transporting many things and people from place to place. As you do your job, you have a hobby. Picking up things in which you could get nowhere else on the globe.

I hope I was of some help! I love your name. If only he had found me.

Does it matter how much money you make? All the money in the world, may not make you happy. You should choose something that you will truly love. You should also check into what kind of training you will need for the occupations you are interested in. Some take years and years of college or university. This gives you lots of education, and also a large debt to pay off. Do some research, ask some people in those occupations, or even get a job in an area similar to those you have listed. This way you can check them out before you decide. You may just find that you don't like any of them.

Vets make a good living. I don't know how easy it would be to get into marine vet medicine though. Check into that first, especially if you aren't interested in a cat, dog and bird practice.

Psychologists make a good living. However, you have to deal with insurance companies. You sound as if you would be tempted to do it free or at a reduced rate if your patient's insurance quit paying. You won't be able to make a good living if that happens.

Airplanes. That would be a good field. However research it. The airlines are cutting salaries, benefits, etc. at an alarming rate.

The most important thing would be to choose the one you would like to do most.

Good luck, you sound like an interesting and intelligent person.

To be social worker of psychologist, even for kids, you have to take a course on psychology. You could be a tour guide in an aquarium, such as the one in Monterey. You could be a teacher of some kind. Get a federal job. I'd love to do that, too.

First .........ask yourself which one would make you that happiest ? What lifestyle do you want to have ? I personally would choose the vet for the marine mammals. That sounds the most exciting to me . The psychologist would probably make the most money though. Do you want money or happiness ?

I think you should go with the pyschologist. pyschology fascinates me too, and it's just amazing to see how peoples lives are. Also, by helping people you are doing a VERY good thing, and without pyschology we would die.
