when school was almost ending i asked the main office if i could get my work permit and they gave me this paper and said i had to fill it out and the persom that hired me had to sign it.. well i ddint get hired and its summer now and i lost the paper but i got an interview for a job and i want to go but im afraid they arent going to hire me because i dont have a work permit what should i do is there some place besides school i can get a work permit ???
please help "/

It might vary state to state. I know in california you need a work permit through your school. What you can do is call your school and talk to someone there who can give you info or get you a new form. Just because it's summer doesn't mean that no one is at your school, schools are open throughout the summer.

it all depneds on if ur a minor or not.if so go to your school office and request a permit this allows u to work have a good day.i had to also do this when i was young,

you just need to go to your local school board
