It seems you are asking: Why are the Jews so obsessed about Israel after not taking it back for 2000 years?
The crusaders had a hard time taking it over and so did the Arabs from the Christians. It is no easy task. For years, and still, is wanted by many. Until a modern democratic world sprouted, a few Jews would have trouble taking back the country. If you noticed they never did conquer it, the British handed it over. If not for that there would doubtfully be an Israel today - it would still be Palestine.

Uh, oh! Bad grammar. This is not even in the form of a question. I see it as political diatribe. First of all, the country of Israel is populated by Israelis. Not all Israelis are Jews. Not all Jews are Israelis. I know Jews in the United States. None of them want land from Egypt to Iraq.
Israelis (Jews and non-Jews) have been attacked by radical Arabs and almost-insane-with-hate muslims for years. The people of Israel were granted the country by the United Nations. If you don't like that, call Kofi Anan, UN Secretary General.
I am a Catholic, but I am fed up with Jew bashers of all races and all countries. I find it particularly annoying when people get onto Yahoo! Answers with ridiculous statements like yours.
Learn some history. Then, get a life.

They will not get what they want.
Sooner or later Israel will not be of any use to America or the west and then they will be long gone.
To get facts straight : Israelis are Jews, historically they are the sons of Israel who was Jacob too, so Jews any where in the world are considered Israeli citizens.
No one can get Israeli citizenship unless he is a Jew (except for those Arabs Israelis were stuck with when they refused to leave theior lands).
If you are a Christian with an American citizenship try to get an Israeli citizenship, just ask how you can get it, you will not get it.
Israel is a discriminative country just like South Africa was and still you find some librals defend it !! how strange

There is no question that the land currently occupied by the Israelis is theirs. They won the land in 1967 and will not relinquish it until a stronger foe has the temerity to strike and win it back militarily.
