Filming a movie with a tiny budget. Need a wedding dress for an actress, and I need it by Friday. I'm in New York City - and a dude - so I have no idea where to even begin looking for one... any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

try a local thrift store or a consignment shop. check out your yellow pages for that area.

you could also go to craigslist.org and pick your city. see if anyone in your area is selling one.

David's Bridal is good... I went online and checked it's price once, it's actually very cheap compared to what bridal gowns cost these days. I'm not married yet and probably won't be for at least the next 10 years, but I would want a wedding dress from Jenny Lee. But only if I can afford it, because it doesn't come cheap.

you need it by Friday? try craigslist, a lot of people sell their dresses on their.
If you can get a extension on your film ebay is a great option! I bought my wedding dress from china off of there and had it custom made. :)
lol hell I'll sell you my wedding dress for the right price and have it express shipped lol.

Salvation army, or any type thrift shop like that. Also check flea markets, garage sales, estate sales, etc. In alot of cases, they will advertise in the paper and tell you exactly what they are selling so you don't waste a trip.

Well I would try a thrift store or goodwill second hand shop, but you may end up with something that would be too outdated to put in your movie..what is CHEAP to you though? http://cgi.ebay.com/WEDDING-DRESS-DESIGNED-BY-ENCHANTED-GOWN_W0QQitemZ170010998467QQihZ007QQcategoryZ63851QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

These are just a few wedding gowns that I found on EBAY that arent too expensive and ones that you can just buy, that you don't have to bid on if you dont want to....Hope this helps!!!

Check at your local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores, and also at thrift shops.

Try David's Bridal. I think that there should be in New York or in New Jersey.

Try prom stores,

Both are a prom dress, looks like a bridal gown for $130.
